Beachcomber Island Resort is about 17 km north west of Nadi Airport. The resort is a small coral atoll ringed by white sand. Beachcomber. called 'TAI' in the Fijian language, comes close to being unique, it is a 'BAREFOOT' island with lots of sand betwen your toes.
All room rates are 'room only'. There is a compulsory meal plan of FJD 80 per person, per day payable directly to the resort upon check in. This includes cooked/continental breakfast, buffet lunch, theme night dinner and morning and afternoon tea.
Accommodation is available to suit every budget with a choice of traditional thatched to adjoining bungalow style bures and twin lodge rooms have sun decking with private facilities. The Dormitory Grand Bure has 84 bunk beds, and two smaller dormitories making a total of 114 bunk beds unisex with his and hers shared facilities with hot showers, ceiling fans and private keyed lockers. Beachcomber Island is in Fijis oldest marine sanctuary and well known for diving oppotunities. The first purpose built Scuba Diving training pool was introduced in 1994.
