"Great Motel with excellent family style restaurant on site. Rooms decent size. Only one complaint, is that we were in Room 1 and there was a lot of noise...from the road and also from other guests, however after complaining about it at about 10:45pm the manager did sort it out. There is also an outside light that is directly outside the room which makes it hard to sleep and it can't be turned off until the timer turns it off at 11pm. Overview

Aspen on King Motel Timaru contains 28 luxury rooms and a 3 bedroom lodge. Qualmark 4+ star motel situated off main road Timaru, in a quiet garden setting away from the bypass, so extremely quiet.

14 luxury new rooms were added 2006, 12 with spabaths.

All our Timaru Motel units have access to telephone/internet, iron and ironing board, full cooking facilities.

Our Timaru accommodation is close to Timaru Hospital, Botanic Gardens, Century Pool, Theatre Royal and town centre. We cater for the corporate traveller, as well as families. Group bookings are welcome.
Fax facilities available. Bartercard, Eftpos and all major credit cards accepted.

The "Tussock Licenced Restaurant" on-site offers an excellent a la carte menu at affordable prices
with room service and continental and cooked breakfast available either in the Restaurant or in the room.

We have a large playground with giant outdoor chess, trampoline.
