Overview

The Cambridge Hotel is a newly restored heritage building. It is immensely popular for its value accommodation in the capital city. The fantastic central location, and sympathetically restored decor, combined with hard-to-match prices, has made the Cambridge Hotel the first choice for many travellers and returning guests.

You can walk everywhere.

Within 500 metres we have three cinema complexes, countless bars and restaurants, main bus routes, a supermarket and Te Papatongarewa (our museum). Should the weather be bad a cab to the other side of town will only set you back $15 at the most. A taxi from the airport is just under $25, and a shuttle is around $15. From the railway station or ferry terminals a taxi is approximately $10, or a bus to Courtenay Place is only $1. The Flyer is a bright orange bus that leaves Courtenay Place for the airport every half hour at a cost of $5.00.
