"The accommodation was comfortable & clean & the location suited us well for business we needed to do in Christchurch. The only down side for us was that the central heating was turned off during the night. On our first night it was turned off at 9pm, & we woke at around 4pm because of the cold, after we complained it was left on till later in the evening on all subsequent nights. This is the only reason I have it a below average rating. We spent 4 nights at this accommodation. All else was good." Janis Bowker, 30 July 2008

City Central Motel Apartments Response: All rooms have double glazing and retain their warmth through the night. Guests are also provided with a fan heater for their use as well, although most don't require it. It was interesting that the room next door to these two guests, which didn't have the central heating on at all the previous evening was at 18 degrees at 8am in the morning.
