"We first stayed here in 2000 plus twice in later years. The Motel is now in a tired state & needs a face lift. Water pressure is virtually non existent, kitchen tap filter needs replacing, fridge door off hinges & needs new thermostat, plus general decor is dated. The Colonial Court Motel in Kaikoura, New Zealand (NZ) has recently refurbished ground floor studio and 2 bedroom apartments set in very sunny, spacious surroundings with spectacular Mountain views.

We are also pleased to offer outstanding cooked and continental breakfasts as well as a full in-room menu with delicious snacks and evening meals. You must try our famous chunky seafood chowder or homemade fresh pizzas!

Our Kaikoura accommodation offers a courtesy pick-up and drop-off for the bus, train and local activities.

We are only minutes from Whale Watching, Dolphin and Seal Swimming, a great Surf Casting beach and a brand new shopping centre, bar and restaurant complex.

Our Kaikoura motels facilites include large open grounds and children's play area, BBQ, guest laundry, baby's cots and high chairs and lots of room for boat and trailer parking.
