Customer Reviews "Very noisy with people in other units - very thin walls. Especially when 10 guests turn up to stay in a 2 bed unit, quite easily done when the property is not attended I'd say. Also slightly odd that kitchenette is in bathroom!" It was quite annoying when people from upstairs walked around, it was quite clear probably due to the wooden floor. Side door's latch was damaged so it could not close properly. Breakfast and kitchen facilities were very good. Plenty of pillows and lots of blankets if weather gets cold. Awesome location, close to the Sunday market, town and attractions." By car south from Taupo: Follow the main street, which is Fenton Street, to the lakefront. Turn left onto Whakaue Street then turn right at round-about onto Lake Road and proceed straight through a second round-about (Lake Road). Continue up Lake Road to number 21 and you will find Lake Road Lodge on your right hand side.

The Lake View Penthouse and City King Studio are perfectly located; just a short 5 minute walk to the lakefront, cafes, restaurants and city centre. Close to major attractions and geothermal parks. Privacy is assured with free parking, excellent corporate rates and special packages. Not suitable for children under 12 years. Rooms are serviced daily.
