Bribie is situated a 15 minute drive east of the M1 at the Caboolture exit, less than an hour north of Brisbane heading towards the Sunshine Coast. It is a great base for visiting Brisbane, Australia Zoo, the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast.
Everything is at doorstop once on Bribie. Lyrebird Cottage is a short stroll to the calm beach and a 2 minute drive to the patrolled surf beach. It is located in Bongaree which is the tourist hub of Bribie on the southern end.

Lyrebird Cottage Bribie Island Holiday House - 400metres to the beautiful beach of the Pumicestone Passage.

Bribie is less than an hour's drive from Brisbane and is one of Australia's best kept secrets.

There's everything you will need for either an adventure filled holiday or a relaxing getaway.

Lyrebird Cottage is close to the patrolled surf beach, the fishing jetty, water sports, public pool, shopping centre, takeaways, restaurants, tourist strip, art gallery.

You will see dolphins swimming, turtles and maybe even dugong.

We welcome pets to the holiday house and the back yard is fully fenced.

The house has 2 bedrooms each with a double bed and the sunroom has a bunk bed and a couple of floor mattresses.

It is fully self contained with fridge, oven, microwave, tv, dvd, dvd's, books, washing machine, BBQ.

It is your home away from home! Very affordable and great for families or holiday with friends or to getaway on your own.
