Great Astrolabe Reef on Kadavu Island.

Our intimate resort has beautiful, comfortable bures, outstanding cuisine and offers a full range of
adventure and cultural activities.

Dive or take a course with our PADI dive professionals. Experience fantastic fish, pristine corals,
Mantas and sharks.

    Matava is willing to accommodate changes to reservations if an emergency need arises. Changes to reservations will cause the itinerary to be re-priced at the current pricing for the rebooked dates. If rebooking is requested, Matava resort cannot guarantee availability or price for new requested dates.
    • Matava offers a full refund less the price of one night's accommodation, if reservations are cancelled 30 days or more prior to arrival.
    • Bookings cancelled within 29 days of arrival will be charged in full.

    Our Oceanview Bures are distributed on the lower hillside across the stream to catch the soothing tradewinds and give you excellent views across the ocean. Built in the traditional thatched Fijian style and finely finished with polished mahogany timber floors, large airy louvre windows, Queen Size timber four poster beds and private decks. All these new design bures have new private facilities and large private decks. Solar power provides ample lighting for night time reading and comfort.
