Overview

Mercure Picton Marlborough Sounds is perfectly situated approximately 1km Ferry Terminal and Train Station, minutes to the CBD and next to Picton Marina. Picton is a very lively tourist destination and provides a large range of activities and adventures for its visitors. An ideal location to prepare for your Queen Charlotte Track Experience, wine tour, sea kayaking or Fishing. After enjoying Marlborough "The Region With Heart" it's back to the Mercure Picton for refreshments or a meal in the Boatshed Bar.

The award winning Chart Room Restaurant offers north/west panoramic views of the harbour and pool area. The Chart Room Restaurant's nautical theme features digital replicas of Captain James Cook's charts of The Marlborough Sounds as well as other sailing memorabilia. Please note that due to the Winter season, our Restaurant and Bar will not be open on Tuesday and Wednesday every week.
