Overview

MONA pavilions offer contemporary design, avant-garde art, a heated lap pool, sauna and gym, restaurant, micro-brewery and winery near Hobart. The eight pavilions sit on a 3.5 hectare private peninsula that curves into the Derwent River.
Artwork from the MONA (Museum of Old and New Art) collection is featured and guests will also have access to their choice of online imagery once the Museum opens in early 2011.
Each pavilion has panoramic north-facing views, is self-contained, and built to ensure privacy, indulgence and relaxation. Three are glass cubes that appear balanced in the landscape; one is a three-storey diamond shaped building enclosed in a silver metallic skin; and the remaining four cantilever over the river bank.
You can choose from one-or-two bedroom configurations. All have access to the heated infinity pool, sauna and gymnasium.
