We are located just off the Northern Motorway Exit 419.
For North bound traffic turn left and we are approx 400m on your right.

Overview

The Poenamo Hotel is conveniently located just off the Northern Motorway exit 419, approx 10
minutes drive from the City Centre. We are ideally located right next to the Takapuna Golf
Course and close to Takapuna beach.

Within minutes of the Hotel you'll find the North Shore Events centre, North Harbour Stadium and
the Bruce Mason Centre, where all major concerts, sports games and conventions on the North
Shore take place.

Since new ownership in November 2004, the Poenamo has been undergoing a refurbishment
program. Our hotel restaurant has re-opened under new management as "The Backyard"
restaurant/bar, we also have onsite "Gengy's Mongolian BBQ buffet" and "Hells Pizza". For a
relaxing drink you might enjoy "The Lounge" or for the big game we can recommend "Pats
Garage". The Poenamo Hotel is the North Shores' pioneer in accommodation/entertainment!
