"The level of service and welcome very good, however the web page/description of this facility is greatly over exaggerated. For example ('fluffy towels') are in reality like folded cardboard. They were not soft. Our main negative relates to the bathroom facilities. There is only one (shared) toilet and one bathroom (again shared) on the ground floor. The water flow in the bathroom basin is pathetic - i.e. really just a dribble. We had an upstairs room - Hemingway suite which was adequate in size and comfortable bed, however having to go to the toilet/bathroom downstairs, through a kitchen/dining room which at one point had dinner guests in it was rather embarrassing - especially at night time. Overall the general state of the property leaves much to be desired, it needs a lot of tidying up and in reality looks nothing like the publicity shots. Although probably OK for backpackers it is not suitable for a married (mature) couple. Not recommended and we will not be visiting the place again. The continental breakfast was adequate and the daily rate was very reasonable and obviously you get what you pay for, however don't be influenced by the publicity shots!!!
