Orewa is located only 25 minutes north of Auckland City off State Highway 1. Orewa Beach is conveniently located along State Highway 1 which passes through the centre of town. November brings the chicks that clamour for food from their busy parents. Gracefully the gannets soar above their offspring then swoop towards the sea for the fish to feed their greedy chicks.
