"I was very impressed with the whole experience. All the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for me. I had a wonderful meal, delicious glass of good wine and watched the Breakers beat Aussie. The room though a little outdated was excellent for the cost. You cant expect a 5 star on a budget price. "Tidy room, basic tv but it only had 2 channels, found one dirty spoon, nice reception area and free pool (didnt get a chance to use it though), it was a shame that we got woken up at 5am in the morning by someone yelling in the hallway - must have been another customer though. "This hotel is looking"tired" but the service was excellent, the bed good with nice linen. WE were picked up promptly after midnight and bags delivered to our room. The only hiccup was a missing bedside lamp which had to procured for us. The breakfast was good. While a fair way form the airport it was good value for the money, and I would stay there again." "We had to leave very early in AM. The previous night a good breakfast was delivered to our door. Thanks so much! Also, very quiet place. A note: The description of this motel being 5 minutes from airport was greatly underestimated. It was probably 15-20 minutes, which wasn't a big problem, just inaccurate." "Not too good. Just wanted the cheapest room available. The garden Inn was certainly that. Room stunk of cleaning smells, the toilet ran constantly with the over-flow running into the shower. It took me a while to work out how to stop it. There was a radio built into the furniture next to the bed. Its alarm went off at 2am! Tv remote was broken. "I had an overnight stay at a cost of $79 for the Spring saver booking.The room was clean and comfortable. My wake up call was on time. I also stored my car at the hotel while I was in Australia for 4 days. Unfortunately they did not have jumper leads available to start the car when I came back and the battery was flat. "We arrived on a midnight flight and the complimentary shuttle picked us up promptly with the driver being very friendly and helpful. "Found the accommodation excelllent - clean etc. The surrounds are a thing that one does not expect in such a built up area. The staff were so friendly and communicative - the continental breakfast was more than suffient - the airport pickup and drop off were spot on with the driver really easy to talk to. The room was basic, the bed a bid harder than we like but it was nice and clean and all that we needed for a brief overnight stay there. "We found all aspects of our stay very efficient. The property and rooms are very adequate for the rate paid and the rooms were clean and well equipped for an overnight stay. The transfer to the airport was in a modern and upmarket van and the driver was very friendly and obliging. On our arrival back in the country he was very prompt in picking us up again. "The bedroom and ensuite were very dated and could do with an upgrade. There was a hole in the wall in the corner of the room that looked like it had been there sometime. "The hotel was nice and the staff were fantastic. The bathroom needed a little TLC and the bedding was thin but overall it was clean and tidy and well maintained. Restaurant was quite expensive e.g. $11.50 for Shrimp Cocktail and the shrimps had been thawed from frozen. Other food was expensive but delicious. Staff were fantastic - friendly and very helpful."
