"THis was our third stay here and we thoroughly enjoyed it. This time my chldren & I were reliant on public transport for part of our stay and the information we received prior to our travel helped us greatly. "Staff pleasant and welcoming. Room however was very disappointing.
Would be o.k for a quick airport stop - clean and basic. However we needed it for sightseeing and relaxing in Wellington. Overall the room was clean and tidy. Really lacked in lounge space and comfort in couch seating. Bunks were exceedingly high for anyone to get into. Did not suit the Grandmother at all as she could not even get into the bath to shower. "The Airport Motel was a basic functional place to stay for one night. Clean room and facilities. Nice reception when we arrived and taxi arranged for early morning flight. Courtyard facing balcony units have no view but are quiet and do give a decent night sleep. Bad bits were: only one tiny bar of soap for two people, hard bed and no wifi internet." Steven, 26 September 2010

Airport Motel Response: Thankyou for the comments all feedback is value for us to make any improvements where we can. Re the fan in the bathroom, all our units have fans above the showers. The rubbish bins are in the kitchen cupboard just off the bathroom. The soap dish that was missing has been replaced. As for the cramped unit it is only a studio unit and is charged out accordingly.

"We arrived in NZ at 1.30am and once through Customs it was getting close to 2am. Rang Airport Motel and they sent a courtesy coach to collect us and also returned us to the Airport the next day. Great service given the timing." Janet Simonsen, 25 September 2008

"Room was very very small and there were no electric blankets on bed. Although the unit info said to order a newspaper by 8pm, when I asked for a newspaper (for delivery next morning) at 6pm I was told I was too late - the order had already been made.
