*NEW* Customer Reviews of Alma Motel Wanganui & Black Steer Restaurant"Good for what we needed it for. Recieved a free continental breakfast as opposed to a restaurant voucher. Much of what we ticked on the breakfast selection couldn't be supplied though, "sorry we are out of wholemeal bread and muesli etc" was what we got. However alternatives were provided. It was ok given that it was complimentary however would suggest that it isn't offered if not available. There was some confusion upon arrival and the attendant couldn't find us in the system. Washers in most taps need replacing as taps couldn't be turned off and continually dripped. This causes noise and wastes precious water! The guy at check out was very enthusiastic and polite to deal with though. Gym not funcitional and pool was green!" Kristen Burnett, 2 March 2011

"Can only comment on Reception staff and the room as we did not go the restaurant. Staff were friendly, room was adequate for one night. No extras like soap, shampoo or plug in bathroom for hairdryer." Anonymous, 7 May 2008
