"This place was well below standard and we left on the day we arrived. What was advertised was not delivered and we were put in a sub standard room. Door to toilet off track and hairs on wash basin. Given a second room which stunk of spilled beer and after 1 hr was intolerable to stay in. When I went to reception a person who appeared to be related to owner was spitting in the entrance way. They are upgrading and you had to be careful that you didn't trip on the lifted carpet at the entrance to the room. Our booked room was advertised as shower over bath and balcony to name a few items advertised. Room we were given was dark room on lower level. Excuse given they have different rooms and when I showed them the add appears they were
surprised.The receptionist reluctant to take AMEX but when pushed stated it cost THEM but they would take it. Definitely not recommended at all until they clean their act up and clean the place up. Even though we didn't end up paying was unhappy it cost deposit." Anonymous, 29 January 2011

"My car dinged by cleaner. Took a while for them to admit it!! Sinks badly marked by something being dropped in them. Water pressure varied during shower. Tap in sink not working properly both got sprayed with water when came on too fast. Beds comfortable, man friendly, telly worked well. "Had a complaint about hygiene in bathroom, so was co-operatively offered another room. Room service not done one day, but I was given written apology and Snickers bar. Owner away and friendly young man worked hard and saw to my requests and also found my Credit Card which I dropped on checkout. Couriered to me after my phone call, where he correctly checked my ID etc.

General overall opinion is that for the price, this is an economical, central motel. Parking at rear of building, not beside each room. A bit tatty and hallways musty/grubby but room very clean, airy, warm, neat and spacious." Christine McMillan, 8 July 2009

"Excellent place, nice friendly staff who responded to requests for more milk and a later checkout time quickly and efficiently. We had the interconnected rooms (14 & 15) which between them have two queen beds, and one single bed, a bath, two showers, two toilets, a kitchen and two Sky TV sets plus a sofa and two easy chairs.
