"It was small, needed updating and the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. There was no parking available for customers which we weren't aware of until we got there. The location was good though." SD, 23 February 2012


"Extra bedding that was paid for had to be requested. Front desk was very confusing and mucked up our deposit and payment, then to top it up charged us twice plus a $50 holding fee. This took four days to be back in my account, which was unacceptable. Car parking was in a different hotel and was tiny. On the plus side, room was clean and tidy and we had a nice view. "The harbour view 1 bed apartment is in a fabulous position on the 16th floor. However the apartment was quite dirty including the outside of the windows. Along with a few little things like blown lights and an old bed make it a 50/50 call whether to stay there. But don't forget this room has fantastic views." Mark Trim Kerikeri, 5 September 2011

"Reception was not well informed and had hassle and delays awaiting room keys (twice).

We had requested a double room unit with one queen and two single beds. We ended up with two single units, both with double beds. Not ideal sleeping arrangements and one person ended up sleeping on the couch." Michael Wemyss, 2 February 2011

"Total muck up with the booking administration re free WiFi, re Complimentary breakfast, re newspaper, re electric blanket. These were all part of the booking but not part of reality. We had to ask and follow up up each item to be actioned. To the Hotels credit this was done without a fuss. "Great location. I liked all the windows, natural light and access to the balcony. However air extractors very noisy in the wind and need cleaning.
