"The room was described on Ezibed as a Deluxe Queen - certainly didn't match the description. The rooom was not clean. If I had not booked through Ezibed, and was excepted to pay the full rate of 170 as advertised, I would not have stayed. will not stay again." Anonymous, 15 September 2010
"We were excited about our night away but ended up really disappointed. The staff at the hotel were friendly but the room had a bad musty smell, like it was very damp (room 52). The building looked from the outside like it could be a leaky building. It was a freezing cold night and the heater on the wall didn't work properly. We did discover in the morning there was another tiny fan heater in the cupboard but I don't think it would have heated the room. We had our baby with us so I was disappointed about this. We picked the room because it had a spa bath but the spa jets were full of gunk. The only place to fill the jug was from the bath as you could't fit it under the bathroom sink. Everything in the room was tired and old. It had sky but only two channels, and didn't get prime or maori so we had more channels at home without freeview! Had to walk miles to get to the room and it didn't look like any of the other rooms were used much. There were spider webs on the neon lights. We paid $109 for the room on special but I don't think it was wrth more than $50." Doron Whyte, 27 May 2010
"Lovely stay(I think we were one of 3 others). Tidy rooms. Didn't realise we didn't have a kitchen, but as it turned out everything worked out ok. The office was not open the next morning (7.50am) and we had no where to leave the key." Anonymous, 9 May 2010
"The room stunk of smoke, a cigarette butt was sitting on the inside of the door frame, there was hair all over the sheets, the door handle was also very loose, not good for security. the room was very dated and the tiles around the bath were very dirty. we will never stay here again, for that price we expected a better quality."
