"The old Oamaru maternity hospital (where I was born) has been converted into what will be a boutique hotel once they have restaurants up and running. Lovely premises, large rooms, great bathrooms, beds a bit hard, staff couldn't have been more helpful. I recommend it but expect a hotel room, not motel in-room cooking facilities. Give them a try, views, ambience and overall quality should make this the best accomodation in Oamaru very soon." Barry Whitaker, 18 June 2009

"Beds EXTREMELY hard. Neat concept but obviously very much geared for the Asian market. Everything imported from asia, loo paper even imported from aussie. Have booked to stay again 18th Oct so will re-evaluate then." Anonymous, 7 October 2008
