Garden Hotel Response: It is unfortunate the guest was unhappy with the accommodation he booked. The Budget accommodation booked is the most affordable we have available. The Garden Hotel does offer several different room types ranging from motel style, family units to hotels @ different price points to suit all budgets. The units are as noted in the description; "older, non renovated units". We assure you the rooms are clean, and cleaned on a regular basis. However, the units are dated and can be perceived as 'unclean'. We continue to offer this affordable accommodation as it has proven to be a popular option. If the guest was unhappy with his accommodation, we could have, if available, accommodated the guest in a unit more suitable to his needs and expectations.


"So shabby. Plus hygiene was an issue. Receptionist would not deduct the deposit paid to ezibed - so we overpaid. Language was an issue (or excuse for not wishing to understand). We did know these were unrefreshed units but the kitchen and bathroom areas were totally unacceptable, not clean eg water from shower wont drain away. I apologize for the language barrier that appeared to create a problem for you during your stay. We proudly boast a team of Kiwi, Canadian, Chinese, Filipino, Japanese and Korean staff members.

When I noticed Ezibed's deposit had not been deducted I refunded it to your credit card on the day of your departure.

As far as your comments re: cleanliness we appreciate your feedback and I have discussed your concerns with our house keeping crew.

Ezibed.com Response: This is totally unacceptable and Ezibed will be contacting the property and organising they refund you the deposit which should never have been charged in the first place.
