Hansens Cottage Motel Response: I am sorry that the budget unit did not suit you, we do have other rooms of a higher standard.
Cleaning of rooms is now checked regularly.

"We had to stay in Auckland because I had to go to the Auckland Hospital, Margaret and Kevin were marvellous, took untold phone calls for us from family in Hawera, nothing was too much for them. Their lovely staff were also very friendly, felt like we were at home. Whilst the motel unit wasn't the Ritz, it was clean and adequate for what we needed, and of course the main thing it was very quiet." Lawrence Avery, 27 July 2009
