"Lovely room with view of lake. It was lovely to relax on the desk with a glass of wine after our days excursion.
Restaurant is overpriced with inadequate wine list.

"Staff were very helpful and would definitely stay there again. "Beds were very small 'queen size' and very soft and uncomfortable. Bedding was old fashioned heavy matting type blankets with a coverlet oversheet. Also pillows were feather. Had to ask for non–allergenic polyester fill pillows as asthma sufferers in our party. Hotel took nearly two days to supply and then only two. Adults did not sleep properly for entire stay and were left with back pain. Buffet restaurant over priced for the quality and standard. Had to book sauna / gym 2 hours in advance – their explanation – it was for 'private' use. A 2 star establishment." Christie, 5 May 2008

"From the moment we arrived, we were made most welcome by staff, while the facilities were excellent. We chose to eat in the Edgewater Restaurant and were the only guests in this restaurant on the evening concerned. We were impressed that the restaurant remained available to us. Needless to say, we had excellent service! Throughout our stay, all staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful.
