"We had asked for the quietest room and were put on the third floor away from the road, all good until the pub kicked in with LOUD music! Kind of ruined the whole two days we were there 'cos we were almost too tired to appreciate the rest of Wellington's attractions! Probably better early in the week." Anonymous, 12 October 2008

"The Nomads is clean and friendly and efficient, but the family room is on the noisy side of the street. The window latch is broken so it is drafty by the beds, and it is not suitable for a family as on a Saturday night it is impossible to sleep through constant noise, sirens, shouting etc. Family room should be away from the street. I stayed there once before in a single room and that was really noisy too. I don't think I'll stay there again as what is the point of paying to sleep when you can't sleep.

There were people drinking in the lobby, the young girl told them off and held her ground but with 20 mostly male semi-drunk people, she really needed reinforcement of the drink policy since she did not attempt to confiscate their liquor as per the notices in the lobby. I was with my young son and I don't think it was a good look, plus breach of licence of course." Anonymous, 9 July 2008
