"Very nice hotel. But i did request a Queen bed and ended up with two doubles in the room. Only other disappointing matter was the shower not that great....Otherwise very nice stay and room amenities were very good." Anonymous, 6 October 2010

"The hotel is ideally located for a city stay. Self parking is abundant in the close by Skycity. We were unlucky enough to have a room near the Gym, which has a very noisy entry door! Will stay again, for the convenience factor. Ezibed made it good value." Vanessa Redshaw, 22 September 2010

"Room lovely clean and comfortable. An enjoyable night. Evening meals were lovely but we were disappointed with the breakfast. Buffet food was cool to start with - the eggs were stone cold and the pastries and fruit weren't replenished. Overall we really enjoyed, it was just breakfast that let it down." I have spoken to the chefs in the kitchen and they admitted that they forgot to turn on the heaters for the breakfast. It was rectified straight after that, but obviously after you left. "Our stay was on business so only in hotel for sleeping and quick room service. It was fine in fact I'm booking again on Friday night. Did find the noise from other rooms annoying. Could hear people talking on the phone in the next room. Beds comfortable...great pillows" Anonymous, 14 April 2010

"I found nail clippings, hair and bits of food on the floor beside my bed and cobwebs on the inside of the windows. Dirty marks around the door handles and stains on the bottom sheet. I think they were clean but stained nonetheless. In the bathroom there were two 1/8 toilet rolls and no spares. We were also disappointed by service in the restaurant. Gluten-free options at the buffet were appreciated however! Definitely not a four-star experience." Anonymous, 18 August 2009

"The bathroom had been cleaned but when I was on the floor undressing my baby daughter and looking up it was a different story. They need to get into the spaces and undersides with some jiff and elbow grease. Otherwise pleasnt stay. Would have been dissapointed if I had been charged the full price $339.00 but at $129 from Ezibed.com it was more than fine. Breakfast (not included in the price) was divine! Coffee excellent!!"
