"The lifts are very small for people with luggage. The dining area is very public and food average. There was mould in the shower. My booking was for four adults but only two towels were supplied. "The hotel facilities were good, but the staff shocking. Not friendly, there was no sugar or milk in the apartment - we phoned, and are still waiting.....! When collecting our car (valet parking) it took 30 minutes with no explanation, just rudeness. A smile and apology would have made all the difference. "Friendly, helpful staff and nice modern looking hotel close enough to the city centre to get to everything but not right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Room was well equipped with LCD TV and large kitchen area including dish washer, stove, microwave and fridge. Room even a washer/dryer. Bathroom was small but this was excusable due to the rest of the home comforts being included. The decor was very nice and the rooms was very airy with 2 ranch sliders to the balcony. One bedroom was semi-open off the lounge with cavity sliders to close it off. The other was a completely separate bedroom.Not a lot of parking room for cars checking in/out but a few minutes of patients is all that is required. Valet parking was handy. This was a great set up for us, we were 3 adults wanting 2 nights in Auckland at a reasonable rate with all all the comforts of home. "Every thing was fine and as expected, except when I checked out. They would not accept my proof that a $16.00 deposit had been made and argued with me as to final bill amount due. It took me at least ten minutes debate at the check out and ran me late for the meeting I had stayed overnight in town to attend. I now note they have billed me an additional $7.00 on my credit card for a V drink that I definitey did not consume. Not a great experience all round with Quandrant. "It was a clean and tidy hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were a good size with everything you needed in them, also the rooms were quiet, didnt hear much of the noise you get in central Auckland. Pretty good hotel, for price, service and quality." Jeremy, 5 March 2009

"I have booked myself twice in a month. I love it. Excellent view. Very clean and tidy room. Food - a lot of restuarants within the area, 5-10 min walk (city centre). Close proximity to SkyTower, Viaduct, etc. Just Love Quadrant Hotel. I recommend it to anyone visiting NZ and local like me who wants a break. I have stayed in thousand of different Hotels around the world - Quadrant Hotel is one of my favourite. I am planning to book myself again in the near future. Good value for your money. "It was a great hotel to stay at, just a couple of problems were that it said on the website that there was a nightclub there and there wasnt. And the other was there wasnt much variety of food to choose from, the price was good just wasn't much to choose from.
