"Really enjoyed our stay at the Emerald. There were only a few niggles: no wireless internet (had to rent a network cable from reception, which meant only one person online at a time), and the shower head was far too low and could not be raised higher. Nobody wants to hunch when washing their hair!
Otherwise we enjoyed an extremely spacious room, great facilities, and more breakfast than anybody could eat in one sitting. The location was very convenient too. We would be happy to stay here again." Jia, 10 March 2010

"Fabulous time at the Emerald - this is the second time we have stayed. Friendly staff, lovely outlook over the river, spacious rooms. Our kids loved the swimming pool and the restaurant was fantastic. The secure undercover parking is another bonus. "Fabulous - large room, quiet, great balcony overlooking the river - had a great evening entertaining our family there. The pool was fantastic - the kids swam for ages. "Rooms are excellent - some of the best we've stayed in, especially having recently had some poor experiences of old small rooms in Europe!. Pool is lovely. Breakfast is pretty boring and although the continental was included, they wanted an extra $12 for cooked. Lovely staff - very friendly.
