"Clean and tidy but some furnishings were a wee bit dated. View was ok, but could have been better (partially blocked by ugly student accommodation) still got a glimpse of the harbour and a nice view of the domain and museum. Nice receptionist :o)" Tricia, 22 February 2012

"I do not think this hotel should be 4 star. I was very dissapointed as there is a parking problem. They say they have parks but they only have 8 for all the rooms they have. We were told to park in car park 1 and got towed away. The manager was very aggressive and unhelpful in finding our car. Our rooms were not fully serviced. "The room and view was awesome. The facilities in the room were great. The only couple of gripes are the 'after hour' non-service, which I didn't know about. I arrived from Tauranga and couldn't find Quest on Cintra Lane because of the roadworks. Road signs had been taken down which made it impossible to find where to go.
