"Room service was the only aspect of my stay that was disappointing. This included staff not being familiar with the menu and additional condiements requested did not arrive. Vegetables were bland and presentation of the main course lacked imagination. Check in staff were lovely and most helpful. I always feel safe staying at the Rendezvous. The pool is excellent." "We booked a less expensive package over a year ago & thought we would upgrade as last time was great, this time we were put on a lower floor with a terrible veiw, after being changed twice we were happy, although we were charged twice & it took over a week to get our money back. "We booked a package deal that allowed for a late checkout but the hotel staff didn't recognise this in our booking and we felt harrassed about getting out. "The room was pretty plain and ordinary. The decor of our room was pretty 80'ish - pretty average for price we paid. We got in the room and their was only one wine glass - went down to the desk to get one - they said they'd bring it to our room but it never came. I don't think I'll go for a return visit...." "Our room did not get serviced because by looking for the lights in the dark a little button got pushed by accident that lights up the 'no service needed' light out in the hall. All very obscure.... The swimming pool was a dark and uninviting place. The same goes for the bar area, too dark and chilly. The staff were very friendly but hard to understand as most were Asian." "The staff are particularly helpful. Our only criticism which would be useful to pass on is that there seemed to be no restaurant facilities out of set times.
