"Quality of room was awful. The queen room was very small. Breakfast was not good. when I compare it with all other hotels which I have previously stayed in this one was one of the worst!" Reza, 18 April 2012

"Fine for the price. Excellent location, small rooms, watery bathroom, noisy but super friendly and welcoming staff." Sarah Fyfe, 2 February 2012

"Always an overall good stay at Trinity. Great value and great location in the city. This stay however we were in a less than desirable room, wear and tear evident throughout the room and the shower leaked so bad that it flooded the entire bathroom. I would still choose Trinity again, the value can't be beaten." JulieK, 17 October 2011

"Excellent place to stay with 24/7 check-in service. Food is well priced." Yunene Bishop, 21 September 2011

"Great location, nice staff. Cleanliness in room needed more attention particularly in the bathroom. Poorly fitting shower door flooded the floor. We ate in the restaurant one night and our last morning. The night meal was good but disappointed when couldn't have pancakes in the morning as they had run out. It doesn't take much to make pancakes so found this surprising." Niall and Jackie Fitzgerald, 5 July 2011

"Really lovely and friendly staff." K, 30 May 2011

"We really enjoyed it here. Right next door to the Eclipse bar and near to all Wellington's attractions." Laurence Cooper, 26 May 2011

"Noisy. Scum around the shower most unappealing." David Gallaher, 27 December 2010

"The service was excellent, the rooms were small, but comfortable. The restaurant was also great. We would definitely stay there again." Anonymous, 19 September 2010

"We had a lovely little room very nice, tidy and clean." Anonymous, 20 August 2010

"Room was very small with not much natural light." Anonymous, 29 June 2010

"Staff, were like a breath of fresh air, very helpful, courteous & cheerful. The barmaid went the extra yard." Anonymous, 8 June 2010

"Lovely hotel in the centre of Wellington. Looking forward to staying again soon." Megan Hemmings, 22 May 2010

"Very good value for money, very clean, stylish, small but perfect for a short stay, and great location in the city, yet still quiet. Will definately stay there again." Anonymous, 19 May 2010

"Not too bad. Had a room up on Level 6, so had quite a view. Only problem was the sound of a racer-car in the morning hours, otherwise a great place in terms of location and accessibility." Eileen Koh, 18 May 2010

"I was blown away by this hotel. It's a little old but still pleasant. It's cheap and cheerful and the low-cost doesn't mean they've skimped on all those things which make a hotel fun to stay at.
The hotel has a later checkout than most (11am) and also has room service and a mini bar. It's very central and the rooms are comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I will absolutely make it my place to stay in Wellington from here on in." Kat Jenkins, 7 May 2010

"I am happy with almost everything of this hotel. However, it's a bit too noisy at night. Our room is next to the street. We can hear people talking and screaming the whole night." Daphne Deng, 28 March 2010

"Nice room but traffic noise was quite loud." Bronwyn Collier, 23 February 2010

"Very friendy staff and the hotel was a pleasure to stay at." Denise Pearson, 20 February 2010

"Very clean, very comfortable and management was very helpful." Ronald James, 13 October 2009

"Very very small room, was clean and tidy though, guess I got what I paid for, customer service was outstanding!" Morgan Brodie, 12 August 2009

"Good service, reception was very helpful, thanks Gabby. Nice rooms." Rani, 10 July 2009

"Convenient location, breakfast was good, room adequate and serviced each day. Very friendly and approachable staff." Chris, 4 July 2009

"Only stayed one night. Overall it was good. However the doors did not open properly and I felt that the room did not look like the pictures." Lynne McIntyre, 23 April 2009

"Smallish room, but clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Nice complimentary breakfast." Anonymous, 15 April 2009

"The staff were very friendly, but the beds were a little too soft. Overall what we needed for an overnight stay in Wellington." Anonymous, 13 April 2009

"Room good. Position in town excellent." Lyndon Hughes, 2 April 2009

"Wish it had stated that we had a room with a view of a concrete wall!" Benjamin Kimber, 19 March 2009

"The receptionist was very nice and helpful. When we saw the twinroom that we ordered, we found it too small and decided to ask for another room. The receptionist was very undestanding and guided us to at much better room, thank you! We had a very nice stay in the hotel and in Sydney." CB, 19 March 2009

"Nice facilities, fantastic location, friendly staff. Only stayed for two nights over a weekend, really good rate, rooms are very small but served their purpose. Wouldn't want to stay for more than two days though purely due to size. Also got a carpark at a really reasonable price which took away one worry of the weekend. All in all a great stay." Kate, 18 March 2009

"Absolutely no complaints about the acommodation, check in was a breeze, our carpark had been reserved, the room was excellent. The only thing holding me back from a '10' is the restaurant. They were busy at the time with an engagement party in the back room, but this is still no excuse for lack of service for the other diners. The food also, was not very good. My husbands ravioli was watery and squishy and inedible, he did mention this at the time, but they didn't seem to care. No replacement was offered. We would however, stay in the hotel again, we'd just eat elsewhere." Sue Chapman, 6 March 2009

"Beds aren't the most comfortable and lack of car parks, apart from that good location and clean rooms." Susan Lee, 2 March 2009

"Double and single bed in the room, sky channels, all the comforts of a 5 star hotel. Lots of towels, and very surprised that the room smelt nice without any of those stinky smellies that boutique hotels have to disguise bad plumbing. A good view of St John's church and so peacefully quiet after a day in the Wellington traffic. A nice place to park my bags. Top marks to the helpful staff when it was needed." Colleen, 20 February 2009

"It was pretty good considering the price!!!!! Helpful staff. Walls need a bit of a paint though." Anonymous, 14 February 2009

"Room too small and parking arrangement needs to be reviewed. Having to get out of car to ask receptionist to open the garage door is not the most convenient arrangement especially if you are alone in the car. Everything else is as good as can be expected of a hotel within that price range. Free unlimited use of internet is a big plus." Raymond Chan, 10 February 2009

"The room we stayed at was very small, the door to the bathroom touched the basin. Few of the lightbulbs were working and the fan was broken, and a few things were dirty. Service was excellent though." Anonymous, 4 February 2009

"Rooms too hot and too noisy." Anonymous, 28 January 2009

"It's a nice, modern centrally-located hotel with an on-site restaurant and limited car parking. The rooms are modern with nice facilities. The rooms are on the small side, and there's no air-conditioning, but they have a heater and fan in every room." Anonymous, 22 December 2008

"Cool hotel, friendly staff, the room was great. No complaints at all. Would definitely stay there again." Richard Whiting, 3 December 2008

"The hotel was great and the location was perfect. Thanks again for a hassle free stay." Shiralee Pene, 21 October 2008

"Just fine! Very enjoyable. Nice simple breakfast just what we needed. Drain in bathroom floor blocked. We will certainly use again if still at this price." William Gilmore, 24 September 2008

"Good. Served the purpose it needed." Luke Rattenbury, 18 September 2008

"Shower curtain rail not fixed correctly but could not have caused injury, management told. Meals expensive." David Robinson, 5 September 2008

"Good value for your money. Basic, clean and friendly. Noisy on the Willis Street side of the hotel." Anonymous, 1 September 2008

"Was good accommodation for the price and short notice." Luke Rattenbury, 26 August 2008

"Nice clean room. Small but just enough. Had a good stay there. No problems. Modern style room. Would stay there again." Hannah, 29 July 2008

"We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The standard of room was clean, beds were quite adequate however the room did not have the hotel compendium. Rooms were made up to a very clean standard. If Milo is to be offered I would suggest more of the UHT milk to be available as there wasn't enough. Breakfasts were average, presentation very average. I gave the hotel an 8 as the room was good value for what was charged." Robyn, 23 July 2008

"Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Clean, modern lobby. Room was modern and clean but very small and quite cramped. No microwave. Bathroom was reasonable, but toilet was not very well cleaned. There was only one small piece of soap in the bathroom - no shampoo/conditioner provided. There was a shower-gel/shampoo container in the shower, but this remained empty for our entire stay. The room was very reasonably priced and 2 breakfast vouchers per night were provided. The restaurant (Eclipse) was not one I would visit again. Very poor service, ghastly coffee, and expensive meals that were not of a great standard. There was undercover parking, which cost $15 per night. I've never had to pay for a parking spot before. Also, not a great system for opening and closing the garage door. One has to ask the receptionist to open the door remotely." Anonymous, 17 July 2008

"Clean room and bath. Prompt and friendly service. Convenient location. Good value for money. Complimentary breakfast till 2pm an added plus!" Arun Chaudhari, 12 July 2008

"The room was too small. There was no seating. Air conditioning was noisy and kept us awake. But apart from that the room was clean and tidy. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious." Anonymous, 25 June 2008

"Clean room, very thorough servicing of room while we were out, staff happy and obliging, great outside bar area to sit in with good heating. Ideal location to walk everywhere
the noise from the airconditioning unit was a little vexing, but we chose to leave the window open so not that vexing :)" Julie Ann, 1 June 2008

"I was very impressed with this hotel. The room was clean, fresh and quiet, with all amenities available. The bathroom looked brand new. Staff were friendly and efficient. Unfortunately I was not there long enough to try room service or restaurant. I rate this hotel good value for money in a central location." Naomi, 20 May 2008

"Only drawback was the very slow service (food) in the cafĂ© on two occasions. Otherwise staff were friendly and helpful. Room not large but quite adequate for my needs." Anonymous, 15 May 2008

"Great location, central to everything and handy to shopping." Anonymous, 5 May 2008

"Small room. We did not know we needed to book a park. ***It is stated on the page of Just Hotel that bookings are essential for car-parks. Moderator***" Anonymous, 27 April 2008

"Very happy with accommodation for price. Room is a bit tight, but no problem. Well done Just Hotel." Debbie Horwood, 18 April 2008
