Enabling JavaScript (Active Scripting)

 

JavaScript must be enabled in your web browser for you to access the full functionality of Ezibed.com, including the region selection form on our home page, the Bag-A-Bed specials board on our home page, newsletter subscription, and most importantly, to complete your Ezibed.com booking.

If JavaScript has been disabled in your browser, you can enable it by following the instructions below for the browser you are using. If you are using a browser other those listed below please consult your help menu for information on how to enable JavaScript or active scripting in your browser.

If you are using an older browser version than those listed, we strongly suggest you upgrade for free at microsoft.com (for Internet Explorer), netscape.com (for Netscape Navigator), mozilla.org (for Mozilla Firefox) or apple.com (for Safari for Macs).


To enable JavaScript or active scripting, follow the instructions below for the browser and version you use:

Mozilla FireFox 2.x

  1. Select Tools.
  2. Click Options.
  3. Select the Content tab.
  4. Click Enable JavaScript.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click the Reload button on the main toolbar (or press the F5 key).

Mozilla FireFox 1.x

  1. Select Tools.
  2. Click Options.
  3. Click Web Features.
  4. Click Enable JavaScript.
  5. Click the Reload button on the main toolbar (or press the F5 key).

Internet Explorer 6.x and 7.x for Windows

  1. Select the "Internet Options..." menu item in the "Tools" menu.
  2. Click on the "Security" tab at the top of the Internet Options window that pops up.
  3. From the list of zones at the top of the Security options select the internet icon.
  4. Select the button near the bottom that reads "Custom Level".
  5. In the new window that pops up, scroll down to the item that reads "Active Scripting".
  6. Select the option marked "Enable".
  7. Click on the "Ok" button to close the Security Settings window.
  8. Click on the "Ok" button to close the Internet Options window.
  9. On your browser's main toolbar, click the Refresh button (or press the F5 button on your keyboard).

Internet Explorer 5.x for Windows

  1. Select the "Internet Options..." menu item in the "Tools" menu.
  2. Click on the "Security" tab at the top of the Internet Options window that pops up.
  3. From the list of zones at the top of the Security options select the internet icon.
  4. Select the button near the bottom that reads custom.
  5. In the new window that pops up, scroll down to the item that reads "Active Scripting".
  6. Select the option marked "Enable".
  7. Click on the "Ok" button to close the Security Settings window.
  8. Click on the "Ok" button to close the Internet Options window.
  9. On your browser's main toolbar, click the Refresh button (or press the F5 button on your keyboard).

Internet Explorer 5.X for MAC OSX

  1. Select Preferences from the Explorer menu.
  2. Click the arrow next to Web Browser.
  3. Click Web Content.
  4. Under Active Content check Enable Scripting.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click Refresh.

Internet Explorer 5 for MAC OS9

  1. Select Preferences from the Edit menu.
  2. Click the arrow next to Web Browser.
  3. Click Web Content.
  4. Under Active Content check Enable Scripting.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click Refresh.

Safari for MAC OSX

  1. Select Preferences from the Safari menu.
  2. Click Security.
  3. Check both Enable Java and Enable JavaScript.
  4. Close the window.
  5. Click Reload.

Netscape 7.x

  1. Select the "Preferences..." menu item in the "Edit" menu.
  2. Click on the triangle symbol beside "Advanced" in the 'Category' list on the left hand side of the Preferences window.
  3. Select Scripts & Plug-ins.
  4. Under 'Enable JavaScript for', tick Navigator.
  5. Click OK to close the Preferences window.
  6. On your browser's main toolbar, click the Reload button.

Netscape 6.x

  1. Select the "Preferences..." menu item in the "Edit" menu.
  2. Click on "Advanced" in the 'Category' list on the left hand side of the Preferences window.
  3. On the right hand side select the checkbox marked "Enable Javascript for Navigator".
  4. Click on the "OK" button to close the Preferences window.
  5. On your browser's main toolbar, click the Reload button.

Opera 7.X

  1. Select Quick Preferences from the File menu.
  2. Make sure Enable Javascript is checked.
  3. Click Reload.
