How does Ezibed.com work?

Ezibed.com provides a website where guests can book accommodation for up to 365 days in advance. Because the accommodation is perceived as a last minute booking, the normal room rate is reduced from its full (rack) rate.


Is it safe to use my credit/debit card on Ezibed.com to book a room?

Ezibed.com uses the best encryption software to safeguard your credit/debit card and personal details. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology ensures complete security. It is safer than using your credit/debit card in shops, restaurants or ordering over the telephone. Your security is very important to us so we have partnered with Thawte and Direct Payment Solutions to provide you with the very best online protection. When you see the logos at right you can be certain that all of your details entered into the Ezibed.com website are protected.

What if I don't receive my booking confirmation email?

Some customers may experience problems receiving emails from Ezibed.com due to spam and junk mail filter settings. Here is a guide on how to ensure you receive our emails:

If you've recently completed a booking

Check your 'junk', 'spam' or 'bulk' email folder in case your email from Ezibed.com has arrived here rather than in your inbox. (If so, be sure to notify your email provider that this email is 'not spam', using the facilities provided by your email provider.)

If you use Hotmail

Add Ezibed.com to your Hotmail Safe List:

  1. Login to your Hotmail account
  2. Click the "Contacts" tab at the top of the page
  3. Click "Safe List" on the lower left-hand side
  4. Enter "ezibed.com" and click "Add"

This is completely safe, and you can remove Ezibed.com from this list at any time.

If you use Yahoo!

To prevent your Ezibed.com emails being added to Yahoo's Bulk Folder:

  1. Login to your Yahoo mail account

What if I want to cancel or alter my booking?

For any amendments or cancellations please send an email to . Do not contact the accommodation provider.

All cancellations will incur a minimum cancellation fee. The booking fee is non-refundable. Where a refund is provided on cancellation of your booking, the amount refunded will be returned to the credit/debit card from which the original payment was received.

The standard refund will be equivalent to the amount you have paid Ezibed.com towards the accommodation value of your booking (this amount excludes the booking fee), less . If the accommodation component of your payment to Ezibed.com is under , no refund will be provided.

Ezibed.com adheres to the cancellation and amendment policies of each accommodation provider. These terms and conditions are stated on your booking confirmation. Additional charges, to be deducted from the standard refund amount, may be incurred depending on the policy of the individual accommodation provider.


How do I know that my booking is guaranteed?

Each accommodation provider maintains and updates its room inventory information on Ezibed.com. The number of rooms available is reduced the instant your booking has been processed. As soon as you have booked a room on Ezibed.com a confirmation email is sent to you and the accommodation provider. The email has a unique booking number. Print it and take the email with you, as proof of your booking. The email is also a receipt/invoice if you require it.

Is my personal information safe?

Your information will not be disclosed to outside parties other than the accommodation provider. The SSL (Security Socket Layer) encryption software ensures the information is not 'stolen' as you send it online. To minimize data volume Ezibed.com does not store personal information other than statistical and financial information for reporting purposes. Your credit/debit card details are stored securely with Ezibed.com until the date of your departure from your accommodation. This acts as security against the booking. After you have stayed at your booked accommodation, your credit/debit card details are deleted from our storage area.


Why do I need JavaScript (active scripting) enabled in my web browser?

JavaScript or active scripting provides the functionality for several of Ezibed.com's key features, including the region selection form and Bag-A-Bed specials board on our home page, and the calculation of room, adult and child numbers on the booking page. Without javaScript enabled, you will not be able to complete your Ezibed.com booking. Learn how to enable JavaScript


Why do I need session cookies enabled in my web browser?

A cookie is a file created by a website to store information on your computer. Our online booking system uses session cookies to temporarily store information during the booking process. These cookies are only saved on your computer, and can only be read by the Ezibed website. They are destroyed when you complete your booking, or when you close your web browser.
