Dylans Country Cottages

For a rural retreat in Kaikoura NZ, try Dylans rustic cottage bed and breakfast. Dylans Country Cottages is two unique rustic bed and breakfast cottages, Mahoe and Kowhai. They are in a rural setting beneath the spectacular Seaward Kaikoura mountain range. Each cottage has an upstairs mezzanine bedroom with beds made from Macrocarpa grown on the property. The French doors in the lounge open onto the garden.The kitchenette area is small and basic but more than adequate to make breakfast and simple meals. The cottages were not built with the needs of people with limited mobility in mind. The toilets are not wheelchair accessible. People with limited mobility are unlikely to manage the stairs. Similarly the stair design may mean they are unsuitable for people with limited sight. Similarly the cottages were not built with children in mind. Children must be supervised when upstairs. The lavender and flower gardens of Lavendyl surround the cottages. Lavendyl is also home to Buster. He is a super friendly springer spaniel and is always willing to provide companionship.
