Our accommodation is in the countryside, so our two acres of garden and bush have an abundance of bird life along with many native trees.Warkworth is the ideal place for a peaceful and relaxing weekend getaway. We are only 45 minutes north of the Harbour bridge, so its an ideal stop off for overseas visitors on their drive north AND a place to stop again before you depart for home. After a leisurely breakfast, you can enjoy a stroll through the Warkworth Museum and Parry Kauri Park with their two large kauri trees, 800 and 600 years old. Drive into Warkworth, only three minutes away to stroll around the shops, then drive through to Matakana for lunch at the many wineries in the area or visit a local pottery. Many of you will be here in summer so a visit and swim at one of the numerous beaches is a MUST.
